Saturday, September 25, 2010 we
celebrated our 50 year reunion at the Marriott Convention
Center, across the street from the Burbank Airport. The
Summer and Winter classes of 1959, 1960 & 1961 again joined
together in perhaps our largest reunion yet with over 400
attendees and indeed it was "Fabulous!"
Many expressed that this also included perhaps the finest of
dinners yet at any of our reunions. Again we were honored
and fortunate to have six of our high school teachers
in attendance with four accompanied by spouses. Following
dinner, introductions, a little entertainment and lots of
wonderful mingling, the evening completed with dancing to
memorable music. On Sunday, approximately 100 attended a
picnic held at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. The adjunct
activity was a 16-Day cruise in the Orient departing
Beijing, China October 4 and arriving Singapore October 20,
2010. |
